My name is Habida Moloney, I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, singer and actress.

I was born in Nairobi Kenya, I’m the eldest child of an Irish/English father and Kenyan/Somali mother.

Raised by a principal of a secondary school (St Mary’s School Nairobi)and counselor and a PA, who worked in the same job for over 35years. My mother taught me loyalty, devotion and hard work and my father taught me to believe in people! He believed in all the students he came across, all the clients he counseled and never gave up on any one.

I AM a rape survivor and a survivor of sexual harassment almost everyday, I choose my attitude toward these events as they neither define me nor shape my destiny. I have triumphed over adversity and I’m inspired to share my story because I believe in the power of story telling. I am in the hope that it positively impacts the lives of women and girls in the world.
